Without turning on two-factor authentication on your Discord account, you will not be able to enable server-wide two-factor authentication in your Discord server. So, here’s how to enable two-factor authentication on Discord:

• Open up Discord and log in to your Discord account. Now, click on the gear icon located at the bottom-left of the client, in order to go to Account settings.

• In the “My Account” section, click on “Enable Two-Factor Auth”.

• Now, you’ll be asked to download the Google Authenticator app for your smartphone and generate the authentication code. The app is available for both iOS and Android devices, so install it right away, in order to move on to the next step.

• Once you’ve installed the application, open it up and click on the “+” icon located at the top-right corner of the screen. Now, tap on “Scan Barcode” and point the camera at the QR code displayed on your discord client. The authentication codes for your Discord account will now be displayed in the app. Type that 6-digit code in the Discord client and click on “Activate”.

Well, that’s pretty much the whole process. You’ve successfully enabled two-factor authentication on your Discord account.

Enable Server-Wide Two-Factor Authentication On Discord Server

Now that you’ve successfully turned on two-factor authentication on your Discord account, you’ll be able to enable server-wide two-factor authentication for your Discord server as well. So, simply follow the steps below to get this done in a jiffy:

• Once you’re in your Discord server, click on the server name and head over to “Server Settings”.

• Now, in the “Moderation” section, scroll down to the very bottom and click on “Enable 2FA Requirement”.

• In order to confirm, you will have to enter the 6-digit Discord Auth code that’s displayed in your Google Authenticator app. Once you’re done, click on “Enable server-wide 2FA requirement”.

You’re all set and done. Now that you’ve enabled this feature, Discord will be able to prevent potentially dangerous administrative actions for users without two-factor authentication enabled. As of this writing, Discord only enforces the feature on users with Administrative privileges. However, we’d really love it, if the developers let the server owner force this requirement on every single member in the service. Chromebooks are pretty simple devices and you’d not be wrong in saying that the Chrome OS platform is just the Chrome browser running in a desktop environment. However, it does bring some sweet functionality but if there’s one thing we don’t like, is the fact that you need to enter your Google account password every time you want to use the device. Sure, it makes the device secure but entering your password every time can be hassle for sure. Well, if you happen to own an Android smartphone, there’s a workaround. Yes, you guessed it right, you can unlock your Chromebook with your Android device.

Google’s Smart Lock feature lets you unlock your Chromebook via your Android device but before we guide you on how you can set it up, here are some things you need to know:

Some Prerequisites

• Your Android device should be running on Android 5.0 Lollipop or later.

• Your Chromebook should be running Chrome OS v40 or later and should feature Bluetooth.

• To unlock your Chromebook from your Android device, both the devices should be in close proximity. To be more specific, your Android device should be within 100 feet of the Chromebook.

• The Smart Lock feature is not available for Google Work/Apps accounts.

• You should have the same Google account in your Chromebook and Android device.

Pair your Chromebook and Android device over Bluetooth

Google’s Smart Lock feature requires your Chromebook and Android device to be paired over Bluetooth. So, before you set up Smart Lock, you will first have to pair your Android device to your Chromebook over Bluetooth. Here’s how to do it:

1. Go to the status area on your Chromebook and click on the Bluetooth option. Here, click on “Enable Bluetooth“.

2. Also, turn on Bluetooth on your Android device and make it visible to other devices. Then, head over to Chrome OS Settings->Show advanced settings and in the Bluetooth section, tap on “Add a device“.

3. You should then find your Android device in the Bluetooth search. Select the device and click “Connect“.

4. Then, a prompt should pop-up on your Android device with the passkey, tap on “Pair“.

5. Select “Accept” on your Chromebook and both the devices will be paired.

Set up Smart Lock on Chrome OS and Android

1. To use Smart Lock, you will have to first enable a lock on your Android device. So, go to Settings->Security->Screen Lock and set up a pattern, PIN or password. After which, you will see the Smart Lock option enabled.

2. Once done, head over to Chrome OS Settings->Show advanced settings and in the “Smart Lock for Chromebook (Beta)” section, click on “Set up“.

3. You will then have to enter your Google account password to start setting up Smart Lock. Once entered, the Smart Lock setup should start up. Here, click on “Find my phone“.

Note: Your Android device and Chromebook should be connected to the internet and have Bluetooth enabled. 

4. When your phone is found, click on “Use this phone“.

5. Once done, Smart Lock will be set up between your Chromebook and Android device. You will also see a notification on your Android device suggesting that Smart Lock has been successfully set up. You can click on “Try it out” on your Chromebook to give Smart Lock a spin. If you have other Chromebooks using the same Google account, you can unlock them too with Smart Lock, as the settings are synced.

6. That’s it, you will then see a lock button besides your account in the login page and when you unlock your Android device, the lock icon will be unlocked and you can just tap on the photo to login.

Every time you unlock your Chromebook via your Android device, you will get a notification saying “Chromebook unlocked” on Android. Simple, isn’t it?

In case, Smart Lock isn’t working, you should restart your Chromebook and Android device. You can also try unpairing them and pairing them again to fix any problems. If you want to turn off Smart Lock, you can go to Chrome OS Settings->Show advanced settings and in the “Smart Lock for Chromebook (Beta)” section, click on “Turn off”.

Smartphone cameras are improving with each generation with the best of them even allowing you to record videos in 4K resolution. Remove Audio From Video File

The process of removing the audio from any video file will depend on the device or rather the operating system you are using. Also, you can use multiple methods on the same operating system. For this article, we are going to cover one method each for macOS, iOS, Android, and Windows operating systems. I have selected the methods based on their simplicity and the kind of the software required. So, let us get started, shall we?

• Remove Audio From Video File On macOS

One thing that I really like about Apple's operating system is that it already comes with really great first-party software that allows you to get things done as soon as you unbox your Mac. The most popular and most used ones are the native Mail app, the Notes App, the whole iWork Suite, and so on. Similarly, Apple also includes a basic video editing software which comes pre-installed with your Mac called the iMovie. Although iMovie cannot compete with feature packed video editors out there, it is enough to do some basic editing like removing audio from video. So, let us see how we can do that.

1. Launch iMovie and import your video by clicking on the import button and then selecting your video.

2. Right click (control+click), on the imported video and select the entire clip.

3. Now, drag and drop the video to the editing timeline (look at the picture).

4. Right click on the timeline video and select "Detach Audio".

5. Now you will be able to see that the audio section is separated from the video. Just click on the audio file to select it and then hit the delete key on your keyboard to delete the audio.

6. After deleting the audio hit the Command+E combo to export your video. Depending on the size of your video it might take some time to export it.

7. You still need to save this video, to do that, click on the share button present at the top right corner of the app. Here, click on file and then go through the steps to save your video.

• Remove Audio From Video File On Windows

Like iMovie on macOS, you can use any free video editing software to get your job done. However, for today's tutorial we are going to use a software which is not only free but chances are that most of you will already have it. The name of the software is VLC Media Player. If somehow you don't already have it, click on the link to download it.

1. Launch the VLC app and click on the "Media" option at the top left corner. On the resulting drop down menu click on "Convert/Save".

2. Now, add the video which you want to remove the audio from by clicking on the "Add..." button and then click on the Convert/Save button.

3. Here, click on the button which is marked in the picture.

4. Now, select the "Audio codec" option and remove the checkmark next to the "Audio" subheading. This will remove the audio from the video. Now, click on save.

5. On this page, just select the file destination and click on the "Start" button. The video will be converted and saved to your specified location.

• Remove Audio From Video File On Android

Android makes it really easy for you to remove audio from videos. It will just take you a couple of steps to do that, so let's do it.

1. Install the Timbre App from the Play Store. Launch the App and then scroll down to the video section and tap on the "Mute" button. This will automatically take you to your Gallery app. Here tap on the video to select it.

2. As soon as you tap on the video, the app will import it into the app. Now, to mute the video, tap on the mute button marked in the picture. You will see a pop-up card telling you that the audio will be removed. Since, that's what we want to do, hit save.

3. Once you hit save, the app will give you the option to open the file, tap on Yes to do that. If you don't want to do that now, just tap on No. You can find the saved video in your main gallery app.

• Remove Audio From Video File On iOS

Removing audio from video on iOS is as simple as it is on Android. Sadly, Timbre is not available for iPhone hence we will have to use a different app to achieve our desired result.

1. Install Video Mute from the App Store and launch the app. You will see that the app already pre-loads all your content present on the phone.

2. Select the video that you want to mute by tapping on it. The app will show you a small preview of the video. To start editing, hit the "Select" button present at the top right corner.

3. In the editing window, look at the volume slider present at the bottom of the screen. To remove the audio slide it to the extreme left and then hit the Export button at the top right corner.

4. The video will be processed and then you will get the option to save the video. Click on the "Save Video" button to save the video to your iPhone's storage.

• Remove Audio From Video File Online

If you don’t want to install apps and go through so many steps just to remove audio from your videos, there is a simple way to do it. However, in this process you are limited to a file size of 500 MB and you will need an internet connection. The steps are pretty simple, so let’s just go through them quickly.

1. Visit the AudioRemover website by clicking on this link. Here, click on the browse button and select your video file, and then hit upload.

2. Once the video is uploaded, the website will automatically remove the audio and provide you with a download link for the processed video. Click on the download link to download your video which now doesn’t contain any audio.

As you can see, this is the simplest process. However, for this to work you will need a stable internet connection. Also, you will need to wait while the video file is being uploaded and downloaded. There are other online services like this which can also get the job done, but none of them make it as simple as AudioRemover does.

Remove Unwanted Audio From Your Videos

The above tutorial shows you how to easily remove the audio from your videos. All the apps mentioned in this tutorial are free of cost and work efficiently. Also, only the iPhone app has in-app purchases, that too only to remove the ads. The free version doesn't restrict any of its functions. Note: I tried this on the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 and it worked flawlessly. It’s worth noting that the notch doesn’t really add any functionality apart from just giving you the iconic iPhone X look.

This has been made possible with the help of a third-party Android app called XOutOf10 developed by Ido Ideas. It basically adds the notch to the top of your display, and you can easily enable or disable it within seconds. So, simply follow the steps below to get the iPhone X look in a jiffy:

• Once you’ve downloaded and installed the application from the Google Play Store, open it up and tap on “If It’s Your First Run, Permit Drawing Over Apps”. Now, under the Settings section make sure you give the app all the permissions like letting it display the notch on the lock screen, background startup and displaying pop-up window.

• This essentially makes sure that the notch is displayed whenever you’re using the phone regardless of whether you’re using any app. As far as the appearance is concerned, the notch actually looks quite decent in my opinion, at least on the bezel-less Mi Mix 2. However, I do think it will look weird on phones without a bezel-less display.

Get iPhone X-Like Home Screen on Android Devices

Now that you’ve successfully added the iPhone X notch to your Android phone virtually, let’s take a look at how to get the iPhone X-like home screen on your smartphone. The procedure is kind of complicated, but you’ll be able to set it up in a few minutes. So, simply follow the steps below to get this done without any confusion:

• Firstly, you need to install the Nova Launcher (some options might require Nova Launcher Prime – $4.99) on your Android device. Once installed, set Nova Launcher as the default launcher on your device. Then, open up Nova Settings and go to Desktop -> Desktop grid. Now, choose the 6 x 4 grid to make it similar to the iPhone X and tap “Done” once you’ve completed.

• In the same Dock sub-menu, you can also change the number of icons on one page of the dock. To make it look just like the iPhone X, use 4 icons for your launcher’s dock.

• This is the last but also the most important step, especially because we’ll be using iOS-style icons for our launcher. To make this possible, you need to download TrueiOS – Icon Pack (free) from the Google Play Store. Once you’ve installed it, you’ll need to select this icon pack in Nova Settings by going to Look & feel -> Icon theme -> TrueiOS Icon Pack.

Once you arrange all the iOS-style icons neatly and download this iPhone X wallpaper, your phone will look fairly similar to Apple’s latest premium flagship, especially if you’re having a bezel-less Android smartphone just like this.

Get iPhone X-Like Rounded Corners on Android Devices

Create an IGTV Channel
